Andre Genesse, President

From the picturesque Beauce region in Quebec, well known for its boisterous mentality and for yielding some of Canada’s most successful entrepreneurs, Andre first visited Vancouver in 1986 and knew he had found his new home. 11 years later, he embarked on his trans-Canada journey and never looked back. Bringing with him his entrepreneurial spirit and 15 years experience as a window cleaning business owner, he trained as a high-rise specialist and started contracting window cleaning services under the Skywalker banner in 2000.

His problem solving approach and willingness to experiment with new products and techniques has managed to attract the attention of major companies. In 2004, Ledcor construction awarded Skywalker the highly problematic initial window cleaning of the landmark Shaw tower in Vancouver.

The driving force behind Skywalker’s vision and team, Andre is, above all, a hard worker who puts quality first. His ability to enforce those quality standards and communicate them efficiently to his team has ensured the continued growth and success of Skywalker.
